HDL5, when used as directed, is a high-level disinfectant and chemosterilant for critical and semi-critical items such as medical instruments and devices. HDL5 must be used manually. Do not use HDL5 in automated sterilization units or high-level disinfection units.
Semi-critical items: High-level disinfection of semi-critical items for medical devices and instruments that come into contact with non-intact skin or mucous membranes (not normally considered sterile) such as respiratory equipment and surgical mirrors.
Critical Articles: Chemosterilization is required for medical devices and instruments that come into contact with sterile tissues, the bloodstream, and circulating body fluids; such as surgical instruments, implants, and laparoscopes.

Instructions for use:
Cleaning/Decontamination: Clean, rinse thoroughly, and dry instruments before applying chemical disinfectant or sterilant. For complete disinfection, clean and rinse thoroughly before immersing in HLD5 solution.

Notification: Please ensure that the instruments, equipment or device material to be disinfected is compatible with HDL5.
