Shellac UV varnish Base Coat

CND base coat essential for ensuring the hold of a Shellac varnish coating.

• Allows optimal adhesion of a Shellac coating to the natural nail

Shellac Original Base Coat Instructions

1. Prepare your nails and remove all traces of dust;
2. Use a cotton pad soaked in Scrub Fresh to dehydrate the nail;
3. Apply a very thin layer of Shellac Base Coat and cure under a UV/LED lamp *;
4. Apply a first layer of Shellac color (thin layer), cure under a UV/LED lamp*;
5. Apply a second coat of Shellac color (thin layer), cure for 2 minutes under a UV/LED lamp*;
6. Apply a layer of Shellac Top Coat of your choice, cure under a UV/LED lamp*
7. Remove the sticky layer with an alcohol swab (optional step when using Shellac No-Wipe Top Coat);
8. Apply cuticle oil to finish the application!

*Lamp times will vary depending on the model and power of the lamp used.

Storage of Shellac Original Base Coat

Shellac Original Base Coat bottles can be stored at room temperature, preferably away from sunlight.
